Weldon's Ladies' Journal, August 1911

... And to kick of August, here is the last of my 1911 issues of Weldon's Ladies Journal.  The free patterns enclosed this month included a child's bathing suit and a blouse for an older lady.

  1. *Drool* I love this period! And it loves me! Those black and white hats in the second image are particularly scrumptious! Now I just need some black and white striped silk so I can make my own.

  2. I really admire your creativity: some of the stuff you've made fills me with awe (particularly as I have NO talent in that direction at all!)

These magazines still had their original unused patterns in them. I sold them on (as I said, I've got no dressmaking skills at all!) However, if you're interested, I think they're still available from Needlewitch at http://www.needlewitch.com.au/.
